“Fruit Fiesta” –Prep

“Fruit is nature’s candy”.

“Fruit Fiesta” was conducted to reinforce and familiarize the Prep toddlers to the world of fruits and make them aware about their importance in our daily life. The activity also educated the children about the health benefits and nutritional value of fruits.

The teachers explained the importance of washing fruits before eating and also discussed about its colour, size, taste, smell and texture. A special activity was conducted where the children were asked to come prepared with fresh cream and cut fruits available at home to prepare Creamy Fruit Salad. Varieties of fruits were discussed which the kids showed in their online class to get them familiar with seasonal and non-seasonal fruits.

The children looked extremely thrilled as they prepared the Creamy Fruit Salad, they later tasted and relished their preparation and shared it with their family members with happiness. The hand on experience of preparing the Creamy Fruit Salad was not only exciting for the little ones but also helped in building their life skills.
